No! I try to photograph every dog at events I am at, and I do not offer pre-orders unless it is a private event. All event pricing can be found on my Event Portfolio page.
Photos are posted within 2-5 days of an event. These photos are unedited, meaning they still have the background grain in them, they could have the appearance of being too soft, they could be a little too dark, white on a dog could have picked up colors from the equipment - this is all very easily adjusted in the editing process after purchase.
This depends on Digitals vs Prints.
Digital photos are sent between 3-7 of my business days after ordering. Purchased photos go through a full edit, and are sent in a dropbox link via email. My business days are defined as Monday-Friday 1pm-8:30pm when NOT at a trial. My trial schedule can be found here.
Prints and Products through the gallery are usually printed in 1-3 business days, and shipped directly from the photo lab. Shipping can take 1-2 weeks for standard shipping. WHCC is the lab utilized and is a separate company - once photos leave me, questions should be directed towards them.
All photographers have a business model that works for them and their clients. When it comes to sport photography, my clients first want to see how their dog looks performing the task. Ie - are they jumping at full extension, are they hitting their contacts, are they tracking the toy in dock, are they in proper heel position in obedience, etc.
My clients understand the composition of the photo will be fine once they receive it, but they need to see their dog first before purchase. They also need their photos fast, for stud ads, competition brags, general advertisements, nationals banners, trading cards, etc. Waiting 3-5 weeks for me to fully edit 3000 photos before they see their dog doesn't work for them, and the reverse speeds up the process quite a bit.
Yes, we offer high-quality photo albums, prints, and wall art that you can order directly through the Pixieset store. These are shipped directly from Pixieset, and are out of my control once ordered.
Yes, I offer two types of digitals - High Res and Low Res.
High res are much larger, and come with full rights to use in personal advertising , printing of any kind, websites, personal business owned by the owner of the photo, etc. The only rights they do not come with are commercial - it can't just be given to another business to use. These terms are spelled out fully in the Terms and Conditions portion of the website and gallery.
Low Res are small files sutible for websites and social media. They are sized down properly for Facebook/Instagram. High res photos uploaded to Facebook/Instagram are sized by the website itself, and can distort upon upload. Pre-sizing prevents that. These photos do no come with print rights, and will not print properly at this size.
Yes! Digital art currently includes collages, holiday card options, and trading cards.
Nope! No cost to clubs, I do not charge to be there. I am also happy to donate free photos to worker raffles to encourage more volunteers.
